What you need to know

1. Your South African mobile number will be verified with a One Time PIN (OTP) via SMS.
2. You must be 18 or older to open an account.
3. You must have a valid identity document (i.e. one of the following documents: South African ID, passport (with work permit), asylum seeker or refugee status).

5. An "Upload Successful" message will confirm a successful form submission. (Otherwise please try again or contact us for assistance.)
6. TO COMPLETE your application, you must complete the FICA process with a representative of IMB, usually your agent. If you do not have an agent assisting you with your signup, please contact IMB , and we will assign an agent to you.
7. The registration fee for the IMB Personal Account is R95.00. The monthly cost of the account is R69.00.
